Activity 7 in The Ultimate Kid’s Guide to Happiness:

Our imagination is so much more powerful than we can possibly imagine and we can use it as a tool to help us live the extraordinary life we truly want to live.

The 7th Activity in The Ultimate Kid’s Guide to Happiness introduces kids to Creative Visualization, or in clinical terms, Mental Imagery which has been used by some of the most successful people throughout history.

Napoleon Hill wrote about this powerful technique to achievement calling it “auto-suggestion” and in the Kid’s Guide I share a story about one of my classmates in elementary school who also used creative visualization to help him realize his dreams. Hint, he is one of the most famous actors in the world.

Unlocking the door to an incredible life starts in our imagination with our thoughts, dreams and desires. Our thoughts and dreams can become reality in our experience when we use all of the tools at our disposal to make it happen. Our children have wonderfully amazing imaginations and when we can help direct toward imagining the life they dream of having, doing things they can right now only imagine doing, starts the creative process.

An Exercise in Happiness goes beyond an introduction to creative visualization using activities that encourage not only THINKING BIG but DOING BIG things toward their dreams. Big dreams can at first seem out of reach but get closer with each single step toward them

Remember the words of Walt Disney…

“Remember, this all started with a dream and a mouse”
