Small things like words can have a big impact no matter what age we are. Emotional literacy exercises with An Exercise in Happiness™ helps children identify and deal with their own emotions as well as others. It takes only minutes a day to foster your childrens’ core strengths and values.

If you work with children ages 7-12, An Exercise in Happiness™ is a rewarding experience of co-created dreams and aspirations. It comes with everything you need to effectively engage your children at this crucial developmental stage.

-

Children get their very own Kids Guide and adults get a Grown-Ups Guide.

This is where the “rubber meets the road.”  An Exercise in Happiness™ is an interactive program because we give you the tools to engage your kids in a lighthearted but focused manner.

We call this S.M.I.L.E.

Support, Motivate, Inspire, Love and Educate.

“Emotional literacy is one of the most important keys to mental health and well-being. Emotional literacy is a person’s ability to read and understand emotions — to recognize, interpret, and respond constructively to their own emotions and the emotions of others.”

When we focus our attention, visualize our accomplishments, and write them out, we start to trust in our own capacities.  Writing and reviewing our goals, we start to receive inspired thoughts about the possibilities.  We ope

n up opportunities for positive growth. When that “inspired” thought arrives, we ACT ON IT! Not taking action is like not having peddles on your bike and expecting to move forward.

Kids create daily gratitude statements and goals, and then summarize the week by journaling their success. Listing their thoughts, experiences and visions for the future — based on what makes them happy — establishes a simple process to complete the “Amazing Me” portion of the Exercise in

Happiness™ workbook.
